Don't agree with that. Ulloa has been starved of decent service this season, whenever the service has been good 9 times out of 10 the ball ends up in the back of the net Wood isn't ready for the Premier League yet Nugent isn't good enough Vardy hasn't been good enough Ulloa has done really well in a side struggling
I said Ulloa can warm the bench, but he needs to improve his decision making around around the box. It was poor yesterday.
With Saturdays line up, Nugents must be the place under threat the most from Kramaric. Ulloa has proven he can find the back of the net and from what I have read Kramaric is not a target man but prefers to come in from deeper. Nugent and Ulloa have hardly hit it off as a partnership either. I think Nugent takes Vardys bench spot and like previously mentioned if someone wants to gives us a decent mount for Vardy, well then thanks and I hope he does well elsewhere
Yes I suppose you could say he made the goal. I think he his the best goalscorer we have at the moment and like I said I would keep him in the squad, but with Karmaric and others being touted the writing is on the wall for all the others. I don't know how long Vardy was on the pitch yesterday but I don't think he had the ball under control at any time. This is not good enough and like someone said earlier if we can get 5million snap their hands off. Nugent has a chances to goals ratio of about 10 again this isn't good enough. Wood if he can't get in the team in front of this lot well Adios Amigo...
I do agree that he isnt good enough in general, but in my opinion his form is very good and the team looked better since he has come back into the side. And for that reason i think he has to stay in the team till the results and his performances dry up. If you look at it in another way, he is playing deeper and isnt really a 'striker', more in the hole, and is offering a goal threat from that position
At the minute yes, but as soon as Kramaric is available and up to speed and possibly another then Nuge will be on the bench
Leo has 7 in the league plus also scoring against Newcastle (I make the point because they are Prem opposition) in the cup ... given that he does not take set pieces (generally) and the service to him has been 'sporadic' (if not woefully non-existent in some games) I think he is doing absolutely fine ... he has proven with goals against Arsenal, Everton, Man United, Newcastle, Villa and Stoke that, given the opportunities, he is capable of scoring against anyone ... not a 'bench-warmer' for me ... I'd love to see him and Kamaric paired, particularly if they are constantly getting the same type of crosses that were coming in on Saturday ...
I really hope we don't haveto rely too much on King and Hammond over the next few weeks i've no real major confidence in either.
Is this a sarcastic post, Wizard? Hammond has been excellent for us this season, IMO it was no coincidence that as soon as he picked up his injury, our form disappeared, and now he's back we're doing well again.
Yep, no surprise that Hammond's return to the side has improved our form. We missed both him and Nugent in that spell. Their experience has been huge for us.
I'd agree ... Hammond doesnt do anything spectacular but he does shield the back four and link up play all over the pitch quite well ..
Dean Hammond knows he isn't the worlds best footballer so he keeps things simple and does a very effective job for the team. I'm surprised he has adapted so well this season
What a load of horse ****, king and Hammond were not my idea of the ideal midfield for us but they were awesome together at the start of the season and I don't believe it is a coincidence either that we have got results when Hammond returned to the side after injury.
