Maybe time to give the likes of Ghezzal, Simpson and James a chance to play for their futures here?

Would like to see Soyuncu, Ward and Ihneacho given a chance to prove their worth as well.

Personally I’d be in favour of playing our best team still. But I get that argument and if so:

    Ward

    Simpson Soyuncu Evans Fuchs

    James Choudhury

    Ghezzal Okazaki Barnes

    Ihenacho

I wouldn’t mind that on the basis we don’t mind losing

With each position worth £3M I can’t see us playing weakened sides plus we would probably get fined for doing it

If we just made 2-4 changes I don't think we'd risk being fined, start with 7 or 8 of the youth team and it would be a different matter. Especially when we play Man City.

I'd rather finish as high as possible, that's also what Brendan had said we're aiming to do.

    Superb performance from everyone

Evans, Tielemans and Choudhury was superb

If it wasnt for Leno it would have been 5 or 6

Great result from a performance that laid down a marker from minute one with some really committed challenges. Good to see. But good heavens we wasted some chances. So many times we create a promising situation and come away with nothing because we aren't clinical enough in front of goal, lack composure or players just don't make the runs that are needed. It should have been at least 6. But good that we didn't concede either. Evans and Choudhury were superb today. Both have to be in the team against Man City. What a double that would be.

Brilliant stuff ... so pleased that Brendan gave Hamza Choudhury a chance and the lad grabbed it with both hands ...

City should be in for a game if Brendan gives our young guns the go ahead to go for it ... can't wait <cheers>

Stunning performance. I guess a little question mark on Maddison milking the foul that resulted in them going a man down and if super critical when Barnes was through would loved to have seen him bury it or square it. Thankfully the third goal came and we got the result we deserved. Cant question Rogers half time sub of Ndidi, worked perfectly.

I think Ndidi was taken off as he had a booking. Clever as Arsenal would have tried to get him sent off to even the odds

Brendan got today bang on the money

Maddison is also very lucky that we won has his decision to shoot from 35 yards rather than play in Albrighton for a 1:1 was criminal.

In fairness to him we was slow at getting forward to support him initially. Vardy had the same problem a few mins earlier

If Maddison had his shooting boots on he could have had 2 or 3 today

Lovely on the money ball into Tielemans for his goal as well.
Bit too little too late as far as the season is concerned but as a stand alone game/performance/result that can’t be faulted.
Big change from Jan when we could sweep ****e like Newport and Arsenal aside :bandit: (sorry @PISKIE )

If Rodgers and Tielemans had been here all season where would we be? Might sound mad to some but I think we would be competing for top 4. Been the easiest year ever to make it

Highly doubt it, still would have been a big gap to the top 6, I think Wolves would have finished above us regardless as I think they will for the foreseeable future with their bending of FFP. Rodgers has been having his honeymoon period but we just aren’t good enough to have form like this over a whole season (15/16 aside). Shakespeare and Puel has similar fortunes in their early weeks. Rodgers will prove himself either way next season. It does look more promising, we’ve done a better job with our home games (problems still to be fully resolved as per the Newcastle game) and I was interested to see how he did against his first big 6 team as this was an area where Puel really did exceed and first hurdle complete. Next two will be interesting, would be a real statement if we could take something from Abu Dhabi FC

Its been an poor year for top 4. Man City and Liverpool aside no one has showed consistency

Amount of dropped points we have had this season is crazy. Could have easily made another 10-15 points if Rodgers and Tielemans had been here all year
