As soon as I saw Aubamayang coming on I feared the worst ... the irony is that we have 2 goo young centre backs who are much better equipped to deal with that type of striker than Evans or Morgan ... one can't get a game for us whilst playing regularly for his country and the other is positively ripping up trees at Celtic where he has already become a figure of hero worship to the fans ...

We need to recall Benkovic in January (sorry Celtic fans but our need is greater than yours) and start playing him ... arguably in a back 3 with Maguire and Soyuncu ... with Chilwell and Amartey/Pereira as wing backs ... the difference in pace and mobility that would give us is frightening ... just my opinion of course

Great first 30 minutes. It was the first time this season we look to have been set up to counter the opponents' strengths and it worked very well. We played with energy and a high press, with Ndidi immense again in midfield. Not sure how the ref could not give the penalty, and Maguire should have put away his chance. 3-0 would at least have given us something to defend. After the first half hour we seemed to lose intensity and energy and just sat too deep. The midfield that had protected the defence so well in the first half didn't close down the Arsenal midfield and gave them time and space to pick out runners who never got picked up.

Just hope we can play with the same intensity against some of the 'lesser' teams and get some points on the board quickly.

I didnt understand the positioning with Maddison central and Vardy and Iheanacho playing much wider

I dont understand why he keeps taking Maddison off when we are losing as he is the one who can do something out of nothing

2nd half we was crying out for Iborra. Abit of calm and experience. Everyone seen what was happening except Puel

Maddison was ineffective second half. They made sure a second player closed him down and robbed him just about every time. Looked out of his depth after 30 mins. Oh well, I can still say that I was there last time we won a league game away at Arsenal.

He is still the one who can create something out of nothing. When you looking for a goal he is one of the players we need on the pitch. Alot more then Shinji

    You mean Vardy actually played?

Agreed about Maddison; he has the potential. Unfortunately Okazaki doesn't now look a good fit in a Puel team.

What was Vardy's problem that he had to leave the field in such a hurry? Shouldn't he have perhaps let Puel know he had a problem before all the substitutions were made?

Various rumours are that Vardy had the ****s ...

Actually thought he played OK ... Iheanacho could have put him in like Ozil did for Aubameyang in the first half but decided to blaze it ... Vardy would have had a tap in (just like Aubameyang) ...that type of decision making is costing us ...

Maguire should have scored with that header in the first half ... if he goes for the corner instead of back across the keeper then it's a goal ,,

How many fookin times has Ndidi headed against the bar now ... swear it must be 5 or 6 ...

We need to shore up the defence ... if we do that then there will be less pressure on the strikers and they will relax and take there chances ... prime example of that was Juve last night ...

Talk of us after an attacking midfielder in Jan. Once Gray returns we wont be as desperate but why sign another attacking mid and knock Harvey Barnes even further down the pecking order

If we really want another option aslong as he plays then just recall Barnes. I wouldnt be against recalling Benkovic aswell aslong as he plays. Amartey isnt good enough at right back, centre back or centre mid

Really? All the rumours I am seeing are linking us with wingers which doesn't bode well for the ones that we have.
