It's along those lines, but that's not the main point.

For the record when I go on about HBA, I do recognise that No.10 may be his stronger position. Its the fact we play a man like Obertan instead.

Its the direct choice of one or the other as far as I can see. So to choose Ober consistently or the worser crime of pigeon holing HBA into a No.10 or nothing and not even considering him on the wing; is infuriating and totally unnecessary.

Are people complaining again about HBA not being picked? It's been stated in the papers all week that Ben Arfa won't start but will play. Pardew put him in the team and thought that from what he saw, he still isn't ready, so he took him out again. Rocket science, this is not.

Ready for what? Starting? Playing football?

Was I dreaming when he started away at Man Citeh and Man Utd, the 2 toughest games imaginable. And Chelsea.

I still don't know whether I agree that 10 is the best position for Ben Arfa? I know that's what Pardew says, but clearly he hasn't produced (in his limited opportunities) yet, and clearly Pardew isn't confident in his ability to produce there, otherwise he'd have him playing! If he wants him to improve, get back to fitness, and regain form, he needs to play, simple as. Now if he thinks the team is better without him in it, fair enough, but lets not pretend he's leaving him out for Benny's benefit (those saying he's been protecting him from physical teams, cold weather, the psychological hardship of playing at the site of his injury, etc.), when clearly that's not the case.

I'm not necessarily saying HBA should've been picked, I do believe Pardew always knows better than me. But, what I am saying is that if he does want Ben Arfa to get back in form, I really don't think this will achieve it.

Maybe im clutching at straws here, but technically HBA will still need to have a close eye kept on him with regards to potential for picking up an injury. and with a lot of cold weather coming in the conditions will be slightly more difficult to play in and the ground will be getting harder so maybe hes being spared a little, also considering the fixture list is going to be getting rather compressed soon maybe we are planning ahead a little with regards to a rotation as we really cannot afford more injurys until the jan window opens.

The same should apply to Ba.......

Your not another person on this forum who instead of giving his own opinion, tells everyone the one of the manager are you?

I really dont need to be told this. No offence or out, just saying.

Well yes, I am giving you Pardew's opinion, because it's his team and he picks it. It's not possible for me to explain Pardew's decisions with my opinion on HBA.
