I think we will score goals stb but with our defence buckling under very little pressure we just wont score enough. As I said some weeks ago, last season we scored more goals than Blackpool so they finish in 5th place and lose in the play off final, while we finish 15th. I believe if we have a solid, reliable defence it spreads confidence to the other areas of the pitch, if it wasnt so serious it would be as laughable as the 8 balls that went over the roof of the stadium. Does that give you some idea of the standard.
thanks for the update Fieldmarshall. The main reason I asked is that I dont have faith in Chopra yet and with only Scotland as a like for like back up the Im not convinced that we are strong enough up top.
You make a good point stb and you can never have too many quality strikers, and if Martin and JET can wade in with a few each it takes the pressure off Chopra and Scotland. But if they are helping out in defence it means the front players are on their own with no support.
Time for Evans to **** off and take his staff with him. How have we gone backwards having such a wealthy owner, it's mind boggling what's happening at my club.
I make that 3 appearances with Luongo impressing in all 3. Surely people are happy we have signed him so far !?
