From the little I've seen of him, Carrol seems in the mould of Wilshere.

Attacking type of player, but a battler too.

    ----------------------Green---------------------
    Simpson--------Onuoha-------Dunne---------BOE
    ---------------Henry--------Faurlin--------------
    Hoilett-----------Carroll or Kranjcar--------Phillips
    ---------------------Austin---------------------

Can't find a place for Barton unless he's played as a defensive midfielder, which isn't his best position imo. Could replace Faurlin with Jenas. Strong swuad now.

Hmmm. Not an easy choice - but I suppose now that we just need one striker at least I'm a little less worried about that Department!

I suspect that suspension, injury and form will make choices easier at time - O'Neil should get some game time on the wing at the moment as Phillips is out for example. I can see Barton, Henry, Faurlin and JJ rotating in the middle - we certainly need at least one of Barton or Henry on the pitch to add some 'bite' to our play. Suspect rangercol above is correct and Carroll or Kranjcar will play off Austin. Can't see HR dropping Kranjcar quickly though!

Also said to be creative for a young-un.

Barton will play, along with Onuha he has been our best player this season. We at last have decent pace down both flanks with some power i the middle of the park, with a touch of creativity. The side does look better than last seasons. Can't wait to see how they line up.

Only headache for Harry is poor old clint, he has helped us to two great away wins and is looking at being dropped. Reckon he will start the next game and benched soon after. Clint has to be CB back up now as Dunne will not be able to play another 40 games.
