Doesn't surprise me to see none of our lads up there, if Aluko had stayed fit he would of been in it I'm sure, but other then that individually we have been very average this year, thankfully as a team we've been strong and have managed to get in and hold the second place for as long as we have, hopefully we can see it through in the final game. I've heard a lot about Byram, can't say I've seen him enough to really judge but he didn't look all that great at the KC! Hopefully he and the rest of your lads have a good game on Saturday, I can't remember ever wanting a Leeds win but I do this weekend!
One of the things that makes a great player is the ability to work well with their teammates and not only improve their game but their teammates as well. The fact that a collection of good not great players is currently 2nd place going into the last game speaks volumes to their ability to do this. In my opinion that simple fact alone means that the list is flawed. If Morgan and Schmeichel were so good why is Leicester not farther up the table. If Zaha, Bolasie, and Murray are so good why is Palace so far down the table. This is a team sport and much like how an MVP is the not necessarily the greatest individual player the top 11 players really should take into account what that individual brings to the field that does not show up on individual stats. I dont know who of our players deserves to be on the list but I believe that a list that does not contain at least one of our players is fundamentally flawed.
I literally cannot understand why ANYONE would be bothered about this. Seriously, why are you annoyed? It doesn't get you promoted to have players in there. And I'd argue we don't have anyone who should be in there anyway - we're a team, not a team of individuals.
Mine would be... 4-3-3 Schmeichel Byram Chester Hudson Brady Eagles Chalobah Ince Rhodes Murray Vydra 3-5-2 Schmeichel Chester Morgan Hudson Elmo Eagles Chalobah Quinn Brady Rhodes Murray
I never expected us to have anyone in it. Had Aluko stayed fit all season, I'd have expected him to be in contention, but that's it.
