can't ****ing believe it! absolutely shocked, elated, jumping around my room, think im gonna run down penny lane in nothing but my qpr shirt waving my member's scarf around!!! hahahahah!!! ripping all my liverpool mates at the moment!!
Bloody miracle. If that doesn't galvanise the team nothing will, throw in the fact that it all happened without Barton, fantastic day.
I only got home for the last 20 mins of the game, found a video feed (in Italian) and was disappointed to see the 0-1 scoreline, then devastated for us to go 0-2 down. What a final 13 mins. Any particular reason, other than the obvious, that Barton was substituted for Jamie Mackie? Hope we can continue this momentum on to Sunderland on Saturday and that Bolton (if they play) get hammered by Blackburn.
I'm trouble at work 'cos was dealing with a passenger and screamed 'yyyeessss' when the third goal came up...very unproffesional but sometimes it has to be done
Just spoken to mate who was at the game. Complete strangers are hugging each other. It's like promotion day all over again. I might even give Mrs Shefford one tonight!!!
Thank you Derry much Liverpool, for a great game that never Cisse'd to amaze me. Now, for a Mackie D's as I am 3 2 do what I want
Guys Just back home Forgetting all the cynicism and stuff. We really did play better with Mackie's urgency up front and chasing down. Pool relaxed for the Derry goal but were undone by the second and the third was a little fortunate to get to Mackie but boy did he put it away well. (we deserved a little fortune) Thought Taarabat was always a threat when he tried to create something (must play when fit). Zamora did not win much in the air but never gave up moving. Cisse looked a handful and the gestures when he went off showed he really does want to win for the team. Top man and critical if we are to survive. Yes I still think we can, but only just and we have to win against Swansea at home, Stoke at home (although they beat Spurs tonight) and pick up points against Sunderland, WBA and one more point against the big boys. This win will really help, especially from 2-0 down and 17m to go. Bit like last year's comeback in extra time kicked off the winning year. Man of the match : EVERYONE ( win or lose as a team ) probably Derry or Cisse for the goal and the encouragement that followed. And of course Barton was terrible. I think he has got the "at a small club - I am a big fish" syndrome. Does not do the easy things well and hardly makes a tackle. Stands off his man and does not cover back. He is a better player than we have seen but it's time for him to take a rest and see he is not the big fish. Tonight will do SWP good too.
Full kit including boots, shin pads, and a bit of Vic on me chest, just in case I have to visit Billingsgate!!!!!
