To be honest i'm fed up of threads always getting closed as it ruins it for the people who want to enjoy a serious (not always!) debate. I realise this is not the mods fault as it has to be done. I also realise the blame shouldn't always be put on KPR, although it is clear he is usually the reason (from our supporters) this tends to happen, along with the Utd fans who are often just as bad, and sometimes worse.
Not many of our posters wind them up like you do. Those who wind us up are dealt with you - not by being childish, but though being banned. You make it very difficult though. You do seem to be genuinely obsessed. If you cared that much you wouldn't bite so damn easily and you would focus on Liverpool.
What are the latest odds on KPR being banned before the season starts? If it's 3/1 or better, i'll put a tenner on it!!
Ya at 9.5 it is a good bet. At the moment I have Carroll in for the sole reason that it is Sunderland and he should be well up for it. If his pre-season doesn't start to liven up I might have to go with a Suarez or Dzeko possibly at that bit cheaper but should do the biz ( could be a promising year for Dzeko)
'Could' being the pivotal word. He should do well, the trouble is it's so hard to tell as city are basically a team of individuals. I don't like them either. But there are ways of showing it - but you just don't seem to get that do you? By saying exactly what you want to, you ruin it for everyone else, which is incredibly selfish. There are ways of putting across your opinion without offending absolutely everyone. But obviously that's what you intend to do. A definition of a wum basically! I'm not going to ban you based on an argument with me, but if you continue to flame everyone/everything thing else then you don't leave me with a lot of choice. You've been warned by at least 3 moderators, but you never change. Why should it be one set of rules for everyone except you? Not exactly fair is it? You need to curb your hatred. I do admit I do go a bit far most of it is because I am passionate,but the reason why I ridicule Man United is mostly down to the likes of Swarbs stamping on my head which at times makes my blood boil.I'm confident and optimistic,I strongly believe that our good times are going to return,but you have the likes of Swarbs coming out with stuff like ''It will take Liverpool 5 years to challenge for the top four never mind the title''.How the **** does he know. I also on a lot of occasions stated that good management is key to success and used United as an example to that effect by stating they are better managed than City albeit City have a better squad.And yet this can be applied to them,but it can't be applied to Liverpool. Apparently Kenny is a bottler.He can't last full seasons.He's been out of management for too long.He failed at one out of 4 jobs he's had. Now is this not worth getting annoyed over.
Swarbs has every right to suggest it will take us 5 years. It's his opinion, he's entitled to voice it without being shot down. He doesn't know the answer, but neither do you or I. People wind you up because you have built a reputation for yourself and continue to wind othes up. I would say 70-80% of your posts have a digg at them in some form. You wouldn't be stamped on if you didn't constantly create arguments and animosity. People are now lining you up. Until you start being clever- you, and they, won't win and our board will continue to suffer. - Kenny is bought up as ammo in their defence against you. You always riducule them so they are bound to accuse Kenny of being a bottler. I would be very surpised if more than 2 or 3 on their board genuinely believe that he is.
I can't be bothered to get into an argument over this but I'm sick of so many threads descending into a slanging match. Whatever somebody says about one team, repayment in kind is no answer. No argument was ever won by shouting louder than everyone else. If you don't like what people say, bring 'em down with wit or humour or cold logic. Name calling isn't going to get anyone anywhere, and quite frankly it's tedious for the rest of us. Ironic, yet again, given the aim of the thread that here we are ploughing the same old furrow.
I hate them as well, and I liked your posts when I first joined. However, as the others have stated, you recently have gone a bit overboard. When you were a mod, you Started arguments, but weren't so drastic. Since you lost those privileges, you seem to be taking everything a little far, and then taking it even further. If someone disagrees with you, state your case and then agree to disagree. Not necessarally every time, but for example the David beckham knighting. Obviously you and B4F weren't going to agree, so just move on. And on that point, I agree that he may not deserve it, but I also think there are worse people who could get a knighthood.
Swarbs has his opinion and others do too.I voiced my on a number of occasions. I got abused for voicing such opinions.They constantly throw abuse at Steven Gerrard and Andy Carroll.I got abused for my opinion that I don't like both Denis Irwin or Bobby Charlton.Apparently nobody should dislike ''precious Bobby''...he's beyond dislike.My opinion is that he's a kiss-up and a brown noser,and I personally can't abide brown-nosing. They have not once gave a valid reason for their overall dislike for Steven Gerrard apart from the fact that he openly loathes Manchester United and was taught to.Gary Neville and Wayne Rooney openly loathe Liverpool..however this is deemed acceptable.But nobody is allowed to dislike the self proclaimed bestest club in the world aka the pride of Salford.
Okay I hold my hands up,I do throw abuse at them.I shouldn't fight fire with fire.I'm not perfect and have never claimed to be.However I have never resorted to bigotry unlike certain Manchester United fans.I've been told to **** off and watch GAA because I'm Irish,I've been accused of being a glory-hunter,by people that don't even know what the term actually means. And I am anything but and I have evidence to prove it.I live by the motto ''Embrace and Endure'' Embrace and milk success...endure the failiure.And I've seen plenty of failure.That is known as loyalty.How can someone that shows ultimate loyalty be called a ''gloryhunter''.
Not saying I disagree, again, I loathe man u. I think that a lot of teams were afraid of their reputation and played for a draw, when blackpool among other teams proved they were beatable if you just played them. Even burnley the year before. The point is, though, you just have to have thicker skin. They're trying to wind you up, don't give them the satisfaction every time. You dont have to go in every time, just every once in a while.
