It really is pointless. I think football is one of the worst sports to watch when you don't care. Football should not be in the Olympics it really should be for amateur sports or sports that don't get much coverage. Tennis shouldn't be in it either!
Do you think it will be Giggs's last season next year as a player?

crackerman you arent alone! it is pointless and have no interest in the result or performance, just seeing how spurs players get on.....but Olympic football can be exciting between the other nations, was hoping to see argentina va brazil but found out the argies never qualified!

I've never even heard of Sordell before today. Just shows the depth of quality the UK hosts.

Ahhh, maybe I have then. Obviously didn't make an impression <laugh> In fact, as I recall, wasn't that Redknapp's first match after the trial?

And this Butland does look like a decent keeper actually - bit wary when gossip started linking us with him - maybe he might be alright.

He tanked what I saw of it. Some very good saves, but then Gomes made very good saves.

Woman's football is just men's football played badly.....although saying that they would be well at home with the England men's football team!

Any sport where the Olympics isn't the pinnacle shouldn't be in the games imo.

Football and tennis are two of the most obvious examples I can think of.

If playing half the team out of position is the thing to do, I think he's absolutely brilliant at it, a real master. If only we could hear the logic behind it!
