Is there any assurance from FIFA as I thought that they said if GB team was entered then that would stop England, Scotland, Wales and Northen Ireland competing in any further World cups, Euros etc as it would then have to be Team GB.
I don't see why the Olympics effects Fifa tournaments? Incidentally I remember hearing this on tv, but out Olympic logo looks like Lisa Simpson going down on someone.
Have they said how they are going to select a GB team? I'm guessing they'll pick 5players from each international team otherwise if they just select the best available players the majority are going to be english and the team will be ****. Also manager??
You may well be proved correct. BUT, I will say you ARE correct, we couldnt win the toss, never mind the game.
And there lies one of the problems in forming a GB team. At the moment there are four F.A comittees of the home countries. Somewhere along the line it will evolve into one and a lot of parasites will have no Jollies to go to. Unable to stay in 5 star hotels at the expence of the respective paying public, oh my god no wonder they dont want a GB team, as I said parasites, brown noses call them what you will, the sooner we appoint people to these comittees who have a modicum of football knowledge the better.
Cant agree with that synopsis, have you watched the England team lately. At least the other three nations players, play with pride when they represent their country,something the majority of English players seem to have forgotten.
The Scottish guy going over the top saying they want nothing to do with it. Having already withdrawn from the world cup you would think they would jump at the chance of rubbing shoulders with winners

Just heard on the radio in the car (not sure which station) that the English FA claim to have paper proving the other FA's agreement to team GB. And I said I didn't like soap operas.
