I'd rather: Quinn, Meyler, Fathi, Koren, Evans, Cairney, Olofinjana, McKenna, Boyd, Chester and Faye all played midfield in front of Alex Bruce. I have no problem with him at the back if we have injuries/ players out of form.
Back 3 Seriously though, I don't have an issue with him playing in the defence but the issue comes when Bruce snr picks a starting 11 on a saturday then three days later he picks the exact same 11. We have lost Tuesday away games due to fatigue and Bruce jnr is one of our most injury prone players.
IF you're gonna quote me, ****, at least get it right. I said nepotism COULD cost us promotion, cos Beryl wont see what us fans can see.
Your second post says we really must win this one, yet your first post says he is not your first choice, but you have no problem with him being played. Surely the issue is that we should field our strongest team for a game we really need to win?
I would suggest ^^^ this is not true. Boyd is most effective playing in the hole or off a striker. (ie.Birmingham game.)
Actually James Chester would be more ideal for this role. Play Bruce and McShane either side of Hobbs imo.
And the Palace game? I'm not saying he isn't good off the striker, and I'm not saying he shouldn't play there for us, all I'm saying is he's spent his career as a winger.
The Palace game went south with the award of that scandalous 2nd penalty. We were doing more than ok upto that point. Boyd was not great but was no worse than others. As a team we looked set for a 0-0.
I'm not saying I don't rate him, as I said I'm saying he's played out wide all his career, which he has.
ah yes, let me see... hmm.. what to do... I can either maintain my employment or I can make sure that you and your Kosovo brethren from West Ull don't call me names................ that's a toughie!
