Give up with macca & rosy they're long gone! Amazing how better players get when they've left. You should have put Delaney in instead of Davies :emoticon-0138-think

Yes they are long gone, but when the thing we look most lacking in, which is fight, you can't help but wish those 2 were still here.

Is robertson slow? Is elmo slow ? Is hernandez slow?
I wouldnt say so we have fast players who can counter attack at speed buttt huddlestone stunts it

Theres no tactical genius insight at all its plain as day to see and as i say the most baffling thing is bruce has documented it yet persists in putting him back in

Huddlestone would be amazing in italy

I think bruce bounces at the moment from one rash decision to another

Tom sitting deep with a back 3 works for me! Nobody else has his passing ability & calmness under pressure! Just don't expect him to do something he's never been able to do! ( run box to box )

Snodgrass and Clucas have been our first choice wingers and they're both slow.

Huddlestone was the least of our problems on Saturday, he was regularly receiving the ball and was given nothing ahead of him, he did remarkably well to hold on to the ball as often as he did, we were pedestrian up front.

It would have worked - IF Odubajo had played. Elmo cost us both goals and should be dropped for Friday.

With Dawson possibly OUT until the play-offs (??) we should stick with 3 - 5 - 2 as 4-4-2 does not work,, imo.

    McGregor

    Davies Maguire Bruce(jnr)

    Odubajo Huddlestone Livermore(c) Meyler Robertson

    Diame Hernandez

    subs:- Jakupovic - Elmohamady - Maloney - Hayden - Diomande - Aluko - Snodgrass

Clucas and Snodgrass have looked jaded of late and with a tougher game @ Reading on Tuesday they should be saved for that one,, imo.

nb. With Dawson and Powell injured - 2 key players un-available and possibly costly to our chances.
