I'm prepared to forgive SB for Prossie. Somethings just not working out for the lad, but can't really complain about all the right choices SB has made. Im not giving up on him... this is his first season in British football. He just didnt do a gedo and hit the ground running.
Totally agee. All the best strikers say when missing a sitter "I'd be worried if I wasnt there to miss in the first place".
i think in Proz we have a bit of a sheringham type player. a clever footballer who can hold the ball, one with vision who creates space and brings other strikers into play. He's shown he's got a stunning finish in him (orient) and he can get his head on it (Ipswich) but if strikers do go on confidence, his must be frayed at best with his lack of starts. Just because we need a goal poacher fox in the box, doesn't mean we can measure him against those qualities. He is what he is. Let the disagreement........begin.
you still didn't see Fathi in my opinion he will be a good addition to the team either as RB if Hull played 4-4-2 or as DMF-CMF
I said yonks ago on this very board that he reminds me of Sheringham. The problem was that was exactly the kind of player we didn't need. I've also asked many times by way of criticism did we actually scout him or just see that he was tall and scored a lot and thus assumed he was a target man? Cos he really isn't.
From what I've seen of him on video Fathi is the best of our three Egyptians. I think he's going to open a few eyes on this board. He won't play RB as Steve likes the 3-5-2 and we have a great back line, but I agree with you that he is far better than Evans and will be brilliant in CMF.

Sorry lads but anyone offering positivity towards Proschwitz tonight can't have been at the game. It was an appalling half from him. Gedo was basically playing onm his own up front. Prossy must have touched the ball about twice all game. The miss was ridiculous and just topped off a truly dire half from him; great work by Gedo, great pullback, empty net, no keeper, 2 yards out and he not only misses but needed Meyler to keep it from going out for a throw. Gedo is the guvnor, but Prossy should be last choice out of all our strikers after that half, and he probably will be.
