I said it at the game, but shouldn't Elmo be sent off for his celebration? First yellow for taking his shirt off and then the second one for going into the crowd. I know it would be soft but surely by the letter of the law there were two yellow card offences there.
First Elmo did not go into the crowd if you watch it properly. The booking was the correct decision by the letter of that STUPID LAW.
You must of been at a different match last night. We played better after Prozzy and Gedo came on and I would start with both of them and drop Koren and Simpson. If Gedo not match fit we will have a gem when he is, constant thorn in Derby's side
I'd definitely start Simpson and Gedo up front on Saturday, I thought Proschwitz put himself about more last night and tackled with a bit more purpose, but he still doesn't look threatening enough and that miss was a shocker, Gedo laid it on a plate for him.
I feel for Proschwitz, I thought the ball took a bobble but still. I think Gedo and Simpson would work better, Simmo likes to hold it up more and Gedo looks to play on the last man making all sorts of runs. Could work a treat, but I'd be tempted to start Big Nick and Gedo because that's what we won the game with.
I'd never start any group of players on the basis 'that's what we won the last game with' its horses for courses and it's a sign of good management when a manager is willing to change a winning team to favour an approach that could expose the next oppositions weaknesses. I think Proschwitz will perform a lot better in a 4-4-2 where the strikers are able to get forward more in a central position, but I think Simpson and gedo will work well together and I'd start them both with koren in central midfield instead of Evans.
SB made that mistake when we played at 'Boro. He started with with the 2 strikers that finished the home game v Ipswich. Gedo has to start on Saturday but I reckon Bruce hasn't decided yet with whom.....
