Reckon Foy is trying to make sure he's not seen as a QPR fan after the Chelshit game? Good game though...
Hes had a good game so far, only missed a yellow for the pull back on JB. I dont think we will finish with 11 if we carry on like this.
Derry & Hill are going to have to watch themselves with Mr. Foy. I was just going to say that after a bright start the tide was switching to Newcastle - now Leon Best goal, Derry was loathe to make the tackle.
A twat maybe, but I can kinda understand where he's coming from. I would most happily support a team that rams my opinions back down my throat, so I'm gonna say I can see us losing 3-0 or 3-1 today.
Newcastle are as soft as ****. You've only got to blow on them and they go down. Watch them try and get Derry or Hill sent off second half.
Hill's booking was a little harsh, I thought. But Derry needs to use his brain. Of course you're gonna get booked if you do stupid things like that. He's an arse.
I'll be surprised if we finish with 11, but feeling pissed off because we are doing better than I expected and unlucky to be down. Buz has disappeared after a decent start though.
Promising start but we seem to have lost our way. Cabaye going off has worked against us as Ben Arfa is more of a problem. The bookings haven't helped and shown up Derry as being well out of his depth. They'll be lucky to get through the game with 11 staying on at this rate. Buz is not hurting them with any telling passes and we need some inspiration from God knows where. I think we'll be lucky to salvage anything from this...
Not lucky are we! 2 in the aluminium. Great first 15 or so, if we had scored maybe we wouln't have been under the cosh rest of the half.
Welcome to the PL where youre ok to get up and push a player in the back but not to walk off yourself. Its embarrassing. Derrys foul has changed the game, they lucked into a change of personnel.
Toon are definitely trying to get Derry sent off. Real tightrope for him now. Also, they are going down all over the pitch as if they've been shot!! Ridiculous!!
But this is the story of much of our season so far. We've seen a number of promising starts, but a lack of goals. I've said this before, but whilst we undoubtedly need to bolster the defence, it's the forward line that needs the most improvement. Clean sheets are great, but I personally wouldn't mind shipping 1 or 2 goals a game if we're scoring 3 or 4 at the other end. It's because of the lack of firepower up front that the defence comes under such scrutiny. It's no wonder that we ship goals when we're not making the opposition defend harder. And then we're being disproportionately critical of our defenders. If we put the opposition under greater pressure we take the pressure off our own defence. Simple, ain't it?
