We should rest Suarez and Gerrard for the big game midweek against Spurs. I am quite confident Adam Morgan would bag a couple against their centre back pairing.
If wisdom is fit there would be a strong arguement that this would be the team picked. Lucas for suso second half?

Please please please drop Allen! ------------Jones----------- Wisdom-Skrtel-Agger-Johnson --Gerrard-Henderson-Suso-- ---Sterling-Suarez-Enrique--- Say what you want about Henderson, but he plays the defensive mid role better than anyone when Lucas isn't fit and keeps the ball just as well as Allen. I hope he plays, but we all know BR's lovechild will do. Give Suso a full game in the middle to link up with the forward 3. Playing Gerrard next to Hendo gives him the chance to roam forward more and play Suarez/Sterling through and despite the inconsistancy in his game, he still does that well. I would accept seeing Shelvey instead of Gerrard, but again, we know that'll never happen. BR's not brave enough to drop Allen and Stevie and won't play the in-form players.
There is one thing we don't want to see happen against Swansea considering we've got the spuds next...a Suarez booking!
I agree with the above. Against a good passing team -- like Swansea -- you need to close down and hustle the player on the ball. To do that you need a couple of terriers in the midfield with good engines. This is no longer Gerrard, as we are all aware. Allen, although not a great tackler or interceptor, does have a good engine, and does close down players in the midfield. Henderson does likewise, but is naturally a better DM. Also, if Henderson plays the Lucas DM role, in front of the defenders, then it gives license for Allen to be further up the pitch (which is where he apparently plays best) and Gerrard, too. I think it's inevitable guys that Suarez will get booked! Unless Rodgers gives him a good talking too................ Did someone say drop Allen? Oh yes please do!................
