4-1-3-2

Westwood

Brown, Turner

Elmo....................Ricco

Meyler

Larsson, Vaughan, Sess

Bendtner, Noble

Wouldnt select that team against Man U, but I reckon at home vs Blackburn it could be a good one.

Elmo plays at wing back for Egypt, so he does have experience in that position.

FFS - every week SB was being lambasted by the BoBs for the continual use of 4-5-1.

Hypocrites of WHAT!!!!! Some folk have got some serious short memories.

Bart

I would be happy to see a variation of the 4-5-1 with the right attitude and adaptable as a 4-2-3-1. This will allow sess to play in the middle.
Maybe:
-------------------------Westwood-----------------------
Bardsley--------Turner-----------Brown---------O'Shea
-------------Meyler-------------------Vaughan-----------
Larsson---------------Sessegnon------------Richardson
-------------------------Bendtner------------------------

I like that team, looks good. (Assuming Bendtner is fully commited). I'd still prefer to see 4-4-2 with Ji or Noble.

Exact same team i would put out Cyprussydsafc, we need an attacking midfield, but i thought Rico was banned on sunday?. 1.30 kick off on SKY.

Bart,
Stating the obvious but,it depends who's in the team does it not. 4-5-1 is a great system "IF" players are there to support the striker, an attacking midfielder who has an engine to get up and support, as with a full back. 4-5-1 when we defend could quickly become a 4-3-3. BUT the players have to be given an idea of what we are going to do before kick off. Not during the game like an ex manager did.
