Vaughan hates playing left wing and admits that he's ****e out there. Steve Bruce tried him there once early season and he had no influence on the game at all. His best position is left side of central midfield. I read at the weekend that Gardner is struggling to settle in the NE, which is why he hasn't started for a while. If his head isn't right, there's no point in playing him.

 

Was reading an article about O'Neil yesterday. It mentioned with our severe lack of width O'Neil may be tempted to use 5-3-2 which he has used with success in the past.

I know noble is still young but I'd rather play a young hungry striker who's
banging them in for fun in the reserves, than bender (I know how I spelt it)
He was nothing short of insulting on sunday. His movement off the ball was

I think Vaughn should start, every neutral I know questions why he doesn't start. Both times he has started we've won!

 

Quite like your team Syd. I had been picking Ji based on having very few options (now is not the time for a kid to start games), but your 451 is full of attacking options from midfield.

Although it really needs a commited display from Bendtner.

I am certain he will sign a centre forward and a left winger for the new year. To be honest I dont think we need much more, just those players and a bit of self belief.
