The old saying " if it's not broken, don't fix it" seems right for this game. We were at our seasons' best last game, so there must be a thought to start the same team. A couple of players could do with a rest for sure, and Sheffield Utd, no pushovers, are next in just a few days, so there might be another thought todo just that and rest a few.
This is the CL after all, and in many ways our best money earning opportunity of the year, meaning a good run will help pay off some of the spending we've done and / or, get those last couple of players we are after.
Following Sheffield there is a decent break, so my guess is we'll put in the top team.
Which means almost certainly that Frank will make changes, so I'll second guess him.

Havertz, Mount
Ziyech CHO
Abraham.
 
Swappped Havertz for "Ze Slug" and we won by default. Namely a piss poor ref. Not a great game seemed like we were saving it for the weekend. Have to say Silva is a class above though.

Jorginho again failed to make any real impact despite plenty of effort. Just bamboozled as to why Frank plays him so often. Anyway a pretty good effort from everyone else, another excellent outing for Silva and Zouma. Kante ,Mount , Mendy, Abraham and Werner. One point behind were Chilwell and Ziyech.
However an absolutely dreadful referee ruined any chance of a decent match by hurling yellow cards around like confetti and giving us a penalty for absolutely nothing (2nd one) then sending a bewildered and angry Rennes player off for doing nothing. Where do these abysmal FIFA refs come from?? Can't remember the last decent one I saw.
VAR, FIFA , their 3 rd rate Refs and their bloody handball rule need lining up against a wall and shooting, just destroying everything they touch.
