    Kepa
    Dave - Zouma - Rudiger - Alonso
    Mount -Barkley -Kovacic
    Willian -Giroud- Pullisic

No Kante unfortunately so Barkley undeservedly keeps his place. No Christensen , had a stinker so Rudi plays despite his poor form. No Abraham, no Jorghino for me.

With the subs allowed, RLC and CHO need to get on earlier if things are pear shaped, ditto Reece James.
Ten minutes before full time is far too late.
Frank needs to really rev up these players ,they were universally awful last time out and should all give half their match fee to the needy, they sure as hell didn't earn it.
Big improvement needed and it should see us get a comfortable win.

    Hope you are right, CP

    We are not great atm.

Two wins should see us get top 4 seeing as Leics play United

Well that's one win, but again the hard way. Thought Alonso was excellent and the back 4 were the best part of the team for a change. Midfield was bog ordinary with Jorginho again losing the ball, and disrupting forward progress with his incessant backwards and sideways passing. Willian Pulisic and Giroud were off their games a bit but did enough. RLC looked more solid but still not making those charge forward runs, Kovacic adds steel. Barkley did OK, CHO more lively and Reece James big improvement ,including a perfect cross goal pass that Abraham ,as usual, didn't anticipate. all 3 points count , but we really need a big step up for Liverpool. That said we've troubled them every time we've met this season.

Tough win but at the end of the day that’s all that matters. Still looked liked we would have trouble breaking down a wet paper bag. Far too many balls played backwards and square for my liking.

Amen to that. It's the same problem we've had all season, all the possession, not enough goalscorers, despite Giroud working hard game after game. We'd be sunk without him. I have some sympathy for the forwards especially when Jorginho plays.Utterly hopeless style of play for the fast and furious PL. Actually pace is what has gone missing from all the team.
