Need to keep faith with our team and play pretty much the same team for next 3 or 4 matches. Everyone is still getting used to formations and other players around them which takes game time to settle. In any event, pretty much everyone is playing well as first 30 mins against Leicester showed.
Tammy Abraham is looking shaky but he's not yet getting the service he needs from the midfield, which is giving Giroud his preferred service. But Frank hasn't got his full compliment of midfielders available yet, so obviously we are some distance away from making judgements. Nevertheless, we need goals, so Batman has to get a run sooner or later if Tammy or Giroud don't fire up. Likewise Alonso ,Willian and Tomori need some playing time too, Willian was rusty as an old tin roofing Dave looks to be struggling with the Captaincy to me.
Nevertheless here's my take on next game

Kepa, Dave, Zouma, Christensen, Emerson, Kante, Jorghino, Mount, Pedro Pulisic, Abraham
subs. Batman, Rudiger, Barkley, Willian Alonso.

Mag in peace, what's up with Alonso? I've got him in my fantasy team and he hasn't even set foot on the pitch yet, he was great for you guys last year.

He's shocking in a back four mate. Emerson is better all day long.

I thought Willian was dogshit against Leicester looks way overweight and not match fit.

Cheers Blueman, years of watching our back four makes most defenders look world class.

Tricky little number this trip to the yokels (like most away games this season); agree we have to persevere with the same side with the odd bit of tweaking. Have to agree that Dave wouldn’t be my choice as captain esp after his part in the substitution shambles re league cup v Citeh last season ( didn’t step up imo), that being said circumstances beyond our control dictate that we don’t have any wriggle room for the time being....score draw.

I'm a bit more optomistic, and think we might just get among the goals, I'm on for the win.

Great win and full of confidence in the second half, So happy for Tammy after his last two weeks, that'll be some boost. A little like a very young Anelka perhaps?

Indeed, it was a great win against a surprisingly good Norwich side that played some good attacking football against us. Frankie’s faith in Tammy was well rewarded. Bring on Sheffield United.

Both his goals were really well taken, as was Mounts. Defence was pretty sloppy 1st half, Barkley for their first,Christensen trying for offside was not too bright. On the other hand they really improved 2nd half with Zouma looking quite imposing at times, and Dave more like himself. Very good win against a side better than I thought.
Good . Tammy, Mount, Dave, Zouma, Kovacic.
    OK Jorghino, Kepa, Christensen, Emerson
    Poor Barkley, Pulisic

Agreed CP - I always thought that Norwich would be a useful test for us; good to see the kids warming to the task, interesting to see your assessment of Tammy & Mount as opposed to Pulisic (£70M worth compared with zip from our academy - that ban is looking more like a blessing in disguise).

Not surprised to see Utd slip up (Hodgson did his homework); always thought our inflated loss flattered them, ho hum onwards & upwards.

More and more people are coming to the conclusion that the loss to united was a red herring. We didn’t deserve 4-0 but we didn’t deserve to win either.

So pleased that Tammy scored a brace for you yesterday. Now that he has found the net, I hope his confidence grows and he becomes that 25 goal a season man every team needs if it is to challenge for trophies.

PS: Tammy is better than Rashford?

    lol nah,
I havent seen loads of Pukki, but I have seen alot of Tammy, and he is nowhere near Rashfords level.
If he can grab 10-15 goals this season and turn in decent performances all season then I may change my mind, but right now, no chance.
    I really rate Rashford.
