Team news: Marveaux is definitely out, Tiote and Obertan are almost certainly out, Best is a doubt, Shola and Cabaye are back. Williamson still a few weeks away.

I wouldnt risk Best if he isnt 100%, and while he is playing well I think it's now 6 games without a goal (and he is playing in front of Ba), we have to be fair to the rest of the side. Ben Arfa could win us this game if on form and I would take a chance on that happening, if de Jong even plays there's no guarantee it will happen again, we cant rest him against every other side for fear of an injury. Finally, Gosling over Sammy for me on the wing, he's more experienced and has played in defence before so I think he'll offer more support to Simpson than Sammy would. Also not a fan of putting Santon in midfield or removing Raylor from LB.
 
Gosling and Simpson vs Silva would worry me. I'm still probaly the only one would play Sammy instead of Gosling because he beats his man and has the pace to worry whoever their LB will be.

No Gosling please, especially not on the wing. Id rather give Sammy the game, I know he's inexperienced but I'd rather give him with the game time. I don't rate Gosling at all. He hasn't shown much quality in the games he's played so far.

Sammy looks a far more promising prospect -

Tiote's not training with the team, Pardew also quoted as saying they are sweating on him and Obertan. I doubt we'll risk him when both Guthrie and Cabaye are fit.

Sammy doesnt defend enough for me, let alone if we put him on the right hand side where he'd be cutting inside all the time.

What about Santon then?

Sorry but Gosling has no pace, little skill and the only decent things he did vs Everton were defensive, he doesn't really add much to the attack.

I would like someone with pace on the RW.

Play Santon or Sammy, no Gosling!

Santon's a defender, playing a different position every week is what ruined him at Inter.

Sammy's an attacker and doesnt defend enough, I'd have Gosling every time at the minute, doesnt mean he's a better player.

Think the Tiote thing may be Pards keeping the Manc guessing.

Think Raylor should play infront of Simmo to provide some protection but still able to put a decent cross in. Jonas can help Santon. I'd play Best if he's fit, think we should play the 2 big strong lads against a CB partnership that's missing Kompany
