Kazim-Richards is a big doubt for Blackburn and Nuno Gomes is their only other recognized senior striker.
@StringerSport: Nigel Pearson says St Ledger & Whitbread NOT fit ahead of Blackburn. He confirms #lcfc unlikely to conduct any transfers in ahead of window
Surely we'll do something mad on transfer deadline day? I love transfer deadline day and always quite like the flurry of emergency spending, always good to get involved in that
Blackburn weren't all that good, their squad definitely looks better on paper than it does on the pitch and there's no way we should have lost last night. We played a really weird formation, despite having watched the game, I'm still not sure what position each player was supposed to have been playing. You should beat them.
That's a phrase we hear all too often around here. But really, we should. I can't see us conceding but I can see us scoring.
It's results that matter, not performance. I expected Blackburn to beat Hull. They did. The details are neither here nor there. Let's not make any mistake, this is going to be a tough game. All sides that have come down from the Prem in recent years (except Pompey for obvious reasons) have been a big threat. I certainly expect Blackburn to be in the top 10 at the end of the season.
I can see this one finishing 1-1 tbh which could turn out to be a result depending on how BRFC do this season. I´d like to see Nugent & Knockaert get a start on Sat also, after mid week, Kingy too.
It's a tough game to call but Blackburn seem to struggling to adjust to this league. Sounds like they got a bit lucky to beat Hull. I think it's winnable.
I remember playing Newcastle a few seasons back when they'd just been relegated, thinking we could make the most of it. They won and obviously went to storm the league, actually wouldn't be that surprised if Blackburn do the same on both fronts to be honest.
