First thing I have to remind everyone he is ONLY 20 years old, younger than James Wilson, Yannick Bolasie and Albert, I forgot that as well.

I know he is not everyone's cup of tea, sometimes he can look skilful on some of his turns and then he sometimes let's himself down trying to control the ball, playing one up front is not the easiest role. You need attacking midfielders to come and help, if they are late you look that you have failed your job. Not saying he can't do the job you just need support.

His goal ratio this season before he came to us was fantastic, plus Birmingham wanted to keep him, he choose to come here.

I agree with you Banksy, I think we will one day soon be talking about him as the one that got away!

stead and wood upfront means one thing though, hoof football, it could be risky but perhaps playing ephraim and kilkenny in the 2 CM positions and try passing the ball, cant say little midfielders will get pushed around, look at swansea

Having watched the last two games we looked better defensively against forest and were more offesive against Coventry so id go for a starting 11 of what we had against Forest but drop Hogan for Albert or Yannis.

If we can get a 0-0 against Birmingham id be happy but think Wood will score to make it 3 games in a row with goals

Shiny - Start 442 and 541 second half if we manage to get a lead.

If we are chasing the game, push either Albert, Ephraim or Bolasie forward in a 433 (whoever plays) and bring on Kilkenny

Kilkenny slows the play down and demands the ball constantly..

Well, I'm glad we've got two up front but it does appear that's more of a line-up intended to grind out at least a point as opposed to going at them. Can't blame him.

Bench is pretty laughable though. Three wingers/attacking players and a central midfielder who can't defend.

Both Skuse and Cisse could drop back into defence so we don't need any defensive
cover on the bench. Good tactics by Del IMHO.

Seems to be working. Not there but apparently we're dominating possession.

    Oh, and we're one up.

The sub seemed to do them well; Chris Hughton is an underrated manager. We're still contesting it and have the one goal with subs who can almost certainly make a positive impact. A second Burnley goal wouldn't go amiss though...

Was anything said about Trevor Francis before the game?

****. Come back from the national to find they've equalised and so have Coventry.

C'mon City. One goal. That's it. One goal and our relegation fears are done for the season.

Obviously bitterly disappointed we didn't hang on for the win but getting a point away to a fourth placed side just down from the Premiership is good whatever way you look at it. It's a shame Burnley couldn't have held on for the win either to give us that extra point's gap... I guess nothing's ever easy with this club of ours.

Worries me that Millwall are now 10 pts clear so can't go down.
We need them to take points off Cov on Tuesday.
West Ham will be tough to get even a point. Wobbles may start again if we are only 1 point clear come Wed.
Our form is really coming good at the right time and it may be that a full house is needed again against Barnsley
to roar City on to a win and safety. We don't want nerves to take over just when confidence seems to be on the up.

You get more money finishing higher up the league, so of course Millwall will want to finish as high as they can. Plus they will want to end the season on a high and finish above Palace.

Teams only play weakend sides when they are guaranteed position ie playoff where they want to rest players before the semi finals, or if they are champions, but they only normally do that away fixtures. Teams love to win their last home game so we should be ok with Southampton v Cov as well.

As long as we match Cov's results the next 2 games I can then rest assured.

Would love it if we finish higher than Barnsley so they get the tag of benefitting from Portsmouth deduction and not us!
