He's implying that Hobbs is old enough to judge as a player that's either going to make it or isn't, and we all know he doesn't rate him.
I think we should only bring Harper in if we need someone to point, if we need someone to play football, I'm afraid he's not quite up to it. I can only remember him kicking the ball once yesterday and it was a shocker of a pass.
As i say, i only brought it up because i remember it happening last season. I hope NP plumps for a different option, i didn't go yesterday so i can't comment on his cameo. I should have known that'd be what people choose to focus on when replying to my post, i was kind of hoping more people would give their opinion on the first two paragraphs
Okay then, back to the first point, I definitely wouldn't change the back four unless absolutely forced to do so. I'd play Evans out wide and I'd stick Emerton on the bench for Harper.
Adebola came on and did fantastically well, gave 100%, maybe because he had a point to prove to the Forest fans, who knows, but as far as Im concerned he changed the game, and certainly was a big factor as to how we won the game at the weekend. He did what he was signed to do, to change the way we play when needed, could happen again tomorrow if we have to go to 4-3-3 again.
IMO,.....same team as Forest except Mckenna for TC. and TC off the bench dyuring during the game. dont see or expect many other changes for Barnsley unless of course the likes of Waggy and Barmby are fit.
It looks like that will almost certainly be the team. Waggy, Pusic and Barmby are still out. http://www.hullcityafc.net/page/NewsDetail/0,,10338~2500849,00.html
Now for those of you who went to this seasons friendlies you will recall that Paul McShane played like a reformed character. Against Liverpool he was arguably our best player. Same in the other wins he was outstanding. So please don't judge the lad on the basis of our struggle in the EPL. We could play him at RB, move Rosser over to the left and then push Dudgeon into midfield. When Dudge attacks he often jinks his way into the box and looks a real handful when attacking. So for an alternative and reformed layout for tomorrow night (to rest players for West Ham Saturday), what about this:- ............................................................Basso...................................................... McShane........................Chester.............................Hobbs..............................Rosser Brady............................McKenna...........................Koren.............................Dudgeon ....................................McClean.......................Adebola......................................... Subs: Gulasci, ?? Fuk cant do it no subs to move about, Oh well back to plan one
