No it won't. Diomande will surely start. And Marshall won't be dropped either. Because he's barely done a thing wrong. Exaggerating these tiny, debatable things, while pretending Jak didn't assist the crucial first goal in his last game, is just silly. 3-5-2 seems most preferable and most likely. But we still have the problem of fitting our best player into it; Snodgrass is not a centre mid or a wing back. There's no perfect answer so I guess I'd go with the OP's first team with Snodgrass in the middle. Not his best position but it should suit us better playing the 3-5-2 at home.
We really should be sticking with 3-5-2, without any natural full backs it's the obvious thing to do. With that in mind, Dio should be starting, as he's our only other first team striker.
We played 2 of our three wins playing 4-2-3-1, and we switched to a pretty similar formation when we beat Southampton. With Diomande available to support the striker we can recreate the three that worked well against Leicester and Swansea. I should imagine Phelan will consider it. Marshall; Elmohamady, Dawson, Davies, Tymon; Livermore, Clucas; Snodgrass, Henriksen, Diomande; Mbokani. Huddlestone or Mason could also do the Henriksen role. Meyler for Tymon with Clucas returning to LB would also work, although I think we'd be better off with a stronger midfield. Then there's Maloney, Maguire, Weir and the kids. And that's it I think.
That's a very good point actually. I think we'll do that. I hope we persist with Tymon having given him a chance. Clucas in the middle with the indutsry of Mason and Livermore (no Henriksen, soz). Snodgrass in his best position and Mbokani and Diomande can work their defence, with the latter coming from the left.
Robertson On Track For December Return Andy Robertson is on track for a return to action next month. Robertson has been out since mid-October after damaging his calf in the defeat at Bournemouth, but the Scottish left back is making good progress according to Head Coach Mike Phelan. “Andy is back outside now,” said Phelan last Friday. “He’s doing work and preparation for being fit probably in two weeks’ time. We have to be a little bit careful because calf injuries have a habit of reoccurring. “They can sometimes lead you down the garden path a little bit thinking everything is great and then let you down, so we will be cautious. “But he’s willing and working hard, and we should have him back soon.” http://www.hullcitytigers.com/news/...ember-return-3428808.aspx#sMDq0ZuWiw5zwLbg.99
I can see us cashing in on him and Abel to be honest. I think thats why Tymon is playing when he clearly isnt ready for this level. That big Victor fella is pretty bollocks so think of what a better standard of player will do to him. By the way it’s not his fault! He is being chucked in at a level that is far too high for him at this moment. Hopefully I’m wrong but I think we are priming Josh to sell Robbo.
We're priming Josh for some bigger club to pick him up for a pittance because we have been crap enough not to ensure he stays here at least in the short term.
Kinell, I'm all for LGBT rights an' all that but I'm not really sure we're ready for Divine giving us a bit of oomph at the back or Lily Savage pressing hard in midfield. On the other hand, they'll probably be more effective than what we've currently got. Even though Divine's been dead these past 30 years. Soz, I don't know many trannys.
WBA hammering Burnley tonight - 3-0 after 36 minutes ! Just what we don't need - another team immediately after a confidence building win. Dig deep boys.
Jakupovic Dawson, MaGuire, Davies Elmohamady, Livermore, Clucas, Henriksen Snodgrass Mbokani.Diomande
Pulis has now got them organised. They looked good at Leicester and better against Burnley. Four different scorers last night. I can only think of one at most in our team. Doesn't matter what team we put out it'll be another defeat because we haven't got depth in the squad, Phelan is still trying to find a formation with what he has got to work with and on top of that they are way more physical than us. Not looking forward to the journey home on Saturday. ALLAM OUT!!!
