I would be tempted for the same team to be selected against Arsenal and maybe Sahin given the nod for being Lucas's replacement and having Shelvey, Assaidi, Downing, Enrique etc on the bench.

Obviously we have the second leg against Hearts coming up and I've heard Brendan is going to play most of the big guns for it which is needed in my opinion seeing as though we didn't play well at all last week (except for Sterling who was our best player on the night).

What are your thoughts on the team for tomorrow night and on Sunday against Arsenal.

I think that Sterling will start against Hearts which means he shouldn't start against Arsenal. I'd say start Assaidi on the left, Borini down the middle and Suarez on the right, then bring Sterling on with 20-30 minutes to go.

Hopefully Adam won't be on the bench for either game as he's ****, and I'd like Pacheco on the bench for tomorrow as well <ok>

Assaidi won't play any part tomorrow night, which keeps him fresh for the visit of Arsenal on Sunday. It would also be unwise to start Sahin in either game, it would be better to bed him in gently.

I know he won't play tomorrow, I meant start him against Arsenal. Start Sterling tomorrow and then bring him off in the second half.

----Gerrard--Allen--Sahin-------
----Borini---Suarez---Stirling---

Subs: Jones, Carragher, Kelly, Henderson, Shelvey, Assaidi, ??????

I expect Sahin to start aganst Arsenal to be honest, particularly with Lucas out, as a midfield of Allen, Sahin and Gerrard should be able to dminate Cazorla (who badly faded against Stoke after Tony Pulis stuck a man on him), Diaby and Arteta
