Taylor's contract will be renewed hopefully as we can ill afford to lose a young talented left back. Left footed defenders are at a premium so we need to hold on to him. Our defensive record this year has been superb and he forms part of that unit. The reason other clubs like West Brom, Newcastle and Liverpool are sniffing around is quite simply because he's a quality player. He is a better defender than Ben Davies IMO, having to replace him would be a costly exercise. Huw knows this and will ensure that Taylor signs extension agreement this summer, I have no doubt about it.
Seems that this won't go away. Sell or not. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...tml?ITO=1490&ns_mchannel=rss&ns_campaign=1490
But it's garbage news reporting, how do they know we want to sell? How do they know west brom are interested? They are not the Fail for nothing
Annoying how these stories keep appearing, not sure if it's his camp that keep stoking the fire, but it is a bit irritating. If he genuinely wants to leave I'd take a min of £4m. Not sure Olsson is the replacement though, and certainly not for £5m...
imo they're just rehashing old stories Jager, its cheap, poor journalism. These days all you need to be a journo is an internet connection and access to newsnow.co.uk
Agents usually trying to get his client a pay rise, I dont think for one minute that taylor wants to leave but wants a pay rise.....I dont think we should be paying rises too anyone now and try and get our wage policy back on track.....
I agree Dai, I don't mind some increases for certain players when they are worth it Taylor certainly isn't one of those. Just fed up of the same thing every season from the same player.
