    It's modern life innit
    Instant coffee
I want it all and I want it now
Yet the same people if roles were reversed would be the first ones asking / begging for more time, it's not my fault

Wow, where did that come from, must be my bad leg acting up making me crotchety :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Maybe I am wearing rose tinted specs but I think it used to be different. I dont recall getting on players backs in the first few games, certainly not in the crowd. I also seem to recall young lads got extra support. Maybe I am misremembering. That said modern society demands everything now and there is very little patience, that is the same with football fans now - want instant success.

That's quite true, but tbf very few clubs have any success.

Newcastle haven't won anything that people remember for half of their existence, they always flop at Wembley, and usually lose to their local rivals.

The amount of successful clubs has grown smaller, and that won't change suddenly.

    I take your point though.

And therein lies the problem with modern day English football. The last time anything like that happened (bar Leicester which was a huge anomaly) was too long ago to remember. Maybe Ipswich with Marcus Stewart banging them in? I remember Norwich having a good run in the league and Europe for a season or 2 as well but again, how long ago was that!

I seriously hope this fan led review changes things massively but can I honestly see much changing... Nope.

The last time there was real variety in the clubs that won the FACup or league was the 70s.

Alan Nixon thinks the only way we get rid of Grigg is if we pay him off. Apparently he’s on absolutely loads that nobody will come near.

hmm... it is almost as if some @rsehole decided he wanted him at any cost to try to appease the locals, wonder who would be stupid enough to do that, with a club that was seriously having to count it's pennies??

    Having watched STID not really
Some people are just uneducated in the ways of running a football club, to paraphrase a (in)famous quote

Another loan with a fee I think. They pay say 40 percent of wages. Crap but gets him out of club for last season of contract.
