I fully agree hammer. If Baston is leaving I hope we have another striker incoming.

Hasn't Ulloa gone on strike at Leicester? I don't rate him.

I don't think wa can let Borja go without bringing in another specialist front man and I don't mean Ayew. Too late at this stage unless we sign Hogan at the last minute.

We were linked with Leeds striker and Monk wanted Barrow too?

The business we have done is ok, I still believe we need a striker and most definitely a strong leader of a centre back. I would have been quietly confident with the extra additions of survival, I am still not convinced we wont conceded to many goals to stay up.

What concerns me and before everybody jumps on me, I don't want us to go spending silly money, but the fact that Championship clubs are out spending us worries me when our PL future is in doubt.
Lots of clubs out spent us over the last 5 seasons , including Champuionship sides and it never stopoped us from averaging 10th place . My only ever concern lately is the man put in place to run our "Cheapish " squad . One thing I don't want to do with Baston is sell him or loan him out super cheaply , thats all thats offered , keep him in place and work him in slow . Never know , he might surprise us over another year or so .

If we get anywhere near the 15m we paid for him sell him now, I can only see his price going down and down as he is a poor player and just doesn't suit the PL, make your money back while we can. 100% agree with you as regard to loaning him, never got that.

I think they're just looking to loan Baston not buy him .

Even if they offered us £15m it would still a dangerous move as it would leave us completely bare arsed up front with no cover for Loriente.

Thinking on, at his age Loriente could go down any time with a tear or a strain so, unless we've got someone in mind, someone better than Ayew, then there's no way we can let Baston go, especially not on loan

Big mistake parting with Baston, he could well come good this second half of the season, besides we would be left rather light on our front line, big no from me unless another striker incoming, which I very much doubt............<ok>

On SSN, Stoke maybe trying to cancel Bony loan deal with Man City.

Get Bony back on loan and ship Baston out on loan.

I think there is a good player in Baston just hasn't had a real crack yet. Our style has always suited a big physical centre forward allowing the wingers to get up the pitch. Llorente and Bony would be a fantastic strike force.

Now fit Loriente has proved he's up to the task and also he's shown a degree of loyalty to us and we should respect that and stand by him. Bony left the first chance he got.

Isn't it the case though that Bony can't be loaned to us anyway, or to any another club this season, because he's already been loaned out and played for Stoke.

Regardless of this Loriente is our Man now and I doubt Bony wouldn come to sit on the bench anyway.

Baston Has been our worst priced buy in our history. £15m has been wasted never to get back as it stands today....The only thing we can do if we dont want to sell him cheap is to try and get him out on loan and hope he does well that they want to buy him. .Why we ever went for this reject only Jenkins will know that and here we go again wanting Ayew who has been relegated to the bench........We never learn and never will as long as we have Yes men as managers and a Chairman who is clueless on what we actually need to improve the club....Why dont we bring Magic daps back at least you know he will give his all and something to cheer at...<laugh>
