Realistically we need without any departures; LB, CB, CDM, RW and LW

Linked so far;

ST, Batshuayi
LW/RW, Ntep and Luciano Narsingh
CDM, Carrol
CB; Holger Badstuber
Can't really see Tom Carroll suitable for a dogfight.

Badstuber would be great but if Man City want him - and Guardiola knows him - where would you go?

Taff I am 100% with you, I like Carroll and under different circumstances maybe, but he is 100% not what we need at the moment, surely everyone at the club can see it or do we still owe Spurs over the Vorm, Davies thing. I cant believe we are even considering it, what a waste of 10m, I cant see him getting in the side.

SSN are reporting that Llorente and Michy Batshuayi deal is close.

I actually liked the look of Batshuayi yesterday.
I'd take that deal IF Zouma was included too. Like for like swap on its own is a very big risk but Batshuayi reminds me of a better version of Sinclair. Fast, accurate in front of goal and links up well.

Plus he'll be hungry to prove a point.

If true let's hope Michy Batshuayi is up for the fight. We all know Llorente is
And there lays the problem we are letting go someone we knows can score goals and with a better supply will score more, For a guy as you say, WE HOPE is up for a fight, how can that deal make any sense at all for the club, board or our manager.

Just remember that was against Peterborough Valley and Chelsea are getting rid for a reason. They wouldn't be doing it if the deal wasn't better for them. We are being mugs yet again.

I'd look at it from the point of view that Chelsea want Batshuayi to get games under his belt to develop.
Does Llorente going show that HE doesn't have the fight for a relegation scrap as he's going to be warming the bench as long as Costa is fit etc?

It's a huge risk, personally I'd rather swap Baston for Batshuayi, and keep Llorente, but I think this will be a good signing for us as we are crying out for pace up front.

But our priority should be sorting the defence first. Moving a huge wage earner off the books to bring in a top CB maybe?

Losing Llorente would be an idiotic move. He's our top scorer and he's had cr@p service all season. If this kid is hungry to prove himself them lets bring him in using our own cash (apparently there's £30m to be spent).

But Valley we are not here to develop players for Chelsea we are in a relegation scrap and we are getting rid of the only striker we have who can score for one, who Chelsea admit isn't strong or physical enough for the Pl. We are being 100% mugged off here, Llorente should be told he is going nowhere and Chelsea should be told to **** off. There is only one winner with this transfer and it is not us. I would take him on loaned if we kept llorente but no way is he a replacement.

Last time we sprang to buy , to settle the masses , Baston came in quick and expensively . Hope Llorente stays but if he goes we'll have made money to buy others I hope . 10 million total for Llorente and Fer and a dozen goals between them .

But how do we know this, granted its come from Chelsea, but he's only started 3 games in all competitions.

I think his goals per appearances this season is 4/16.

Llorente is 6/19. Similar strike rate there.

Anyway he's apparently said he prefers a move to WHU instead. Don't need players like that. We need players that will be fully committed to Swansea.

Lots of conflicting stories out there regarding this at the moment.
Batshuyai wants to go to West Ham.
We are looking at signing his brother.
So God knows what's going on. One thing is for sure if any of these things happen we are losing our top goalscorer which is bad news any way look at it. Neither of the Bat brothers have a proven record in a top league. What we need other than a decent back 4 is a decent crosser, as when Llorente gets good service he will bang them in
