And if you're wondering.... it's former Blackpool, Sheffield United and Norwich defender, David Carney who provides us with a fine demonstration of how loosing your man in the penalty area can cost your team a major international tournement! Well done Dave, not your finest moment...
Also, regardless of whether these jokes about the Japanese language are racist or not, it's also the least funny type of comedy known to man. (Except maybe mime).
I know we haven't even purchased him yet but if the deal does go through, he looks like a bit of a poacher which I think we are missing, with a few tricks in there too. All good, just hope he can adapt quickly.
If you look at his goals this season, they come from his movement. Hes always moving around to make space for someone else or himself to have a shot at goal. Every time i watched him in the Asia Cup he reminded me of a lesser version of J Hernandez but does tend to miss some sitters.
my never falting instinct tells me he's going to be a big hit down in hampshire with lots of goals. its a really cool signing.
It looks to me that he plays on the shoulder of the last defender. It's just what we need. Connolly used to do that but he just doesn't have the pace anymore.
Not an easy goal to score. Even if he doesn't start well, to have that ability in his locker will go a long way to scoring that one goal needed to get his confidence up.
I wonder if he is bringing his Mrs -http://www.football-xtreme.com/2011/01/wag-ayumi-lee-tadanaris-girlfriend.html - potentially this fella could get us some serious press in Japan, I see a Japanese/Swiss tour on the cards next year - as I live in China I would love to see Saints in Asia! Also on Saints player there is some clips of him training in the new NA interview. Looks like his training alone, poor guy must be jet lagged!
Sounds like the Japanese Beckhams. How anyone could put reading fashion magazines as a hobby beats me...you'd think she'd have at least pretended not to be an air head.
Just read Adkins' comments on Lee and I can't help but feel; isn't it a little risky signing a player based on You Tube videos. I mean surely he would have learned that lesson with the massive flop that is De Ridder?!
I'm certain Nigel will always have done a lot of home-work before signing any-one. The guy is far too professional not to!
