The odds on him managing have dropped dramatically.

I also love the way he wears a football shirt over a shirt and tie.... And then tucks it into his trousers.
That alone should be enough for him to fail the fit and proper test!

It was more him racking up stupid amounts of money in debt for players like Bobby Zamora.

Yeh, why would we want someone who's building us a new 40K seater stadium, new training ground, is more transparent & down to earth than any other English club owner (he visits pubs post match sometimes), and rid us of Briatore+Ecclestone? <doh>

You've got a short memory if you've forgotten Sven being shipped in and chucking money about on silly contracts. You're still paying some of them off to this day, aren't you?
Fernandes learns quickly, I don't think Bobby Zamora style players will ever be given long contracts again.

So the £109m your owners have racked up and hidden by converting it to shares equates to prudent management? Actually think your lot seem like good blokes for this move, though it won't help with FFP, but you are not in a position to crow.

Tan has no connection whatsoever with Cardiff, its his money and he is playing with it. Cardiff would not be in the Prem without his investment and what he is saying, like the bloke in Hull, is 'hey fans, its not your club, its my club, and I'll do whatever the **** I like with it. I'm pretty certain you won't walk away, because you are hooked, you have no alternative.' In this context we are very lucky indeed to have Fernandes.
