Pathetic pursuit of this on the 'other board'. I am quite prepared to believe he was booing the referee (like me and the rest of the 15,000 left in the stadium). This is what I thought when I first saw it on MOTD, and was then amazed that even this could be turned into an anti-Tan thread debate by the Tan haters. I'm no great fan of him myself, but they really must be desperate - it's becoming laughable.
As an aside: my response to MALKY MALKY MALKY = BORING BORING BORING - just get over it. Really fed up with all this in-fighting and the inability to just get on with supporting the team.

Could not understand why they would do this, he's gone maybe a month to late.

Lucaaas I agree but that was mild compared to what the rest of us said when they scored in the 5th minute of injury time...was he expected to show no reaction?

What I saw on the pitch was inspirational...we do have some quality players.

The media have a story and like many other stories they have made up something they have no idea about but would you expect anything else from them.

When I was watching the highlights I thought the fans were booing the team/result (which I thought was harsh, until I logged on here and saw it was the referee) and Tan just joined in with the booing not really knowing what was going on.

Doubt he was booing the fans as he seems so desperate to be viewed as a fan himself, looking at his goal celebrations.

The ref was a disgrace yesterday. He got so many things wrong it may be easier to list what he got right.

    1) Kick off whistle fist half
    2) Kick off whistle second half

    Now I'm struggling.

it was a definite penalty when he booked mutch and the amount of 50/50s that went their way was incredible

I am not Dave Jones, Peter Ridsdale, Vincent Tan, Huw Jenkins or Malky Mackay so I've no idea what your problem is <yikes>

It was a good decision to yellow card Mutch for a dive. Didn't watch the game in full so no idea how he performed otherwise. He does seem like a poor referee, luckily we don't have to tolerate him because he is from Liverpool (as far as I'm aware).

Mutch is fast becoming a very good footballer much to my surprise as I never rated him last season. We are lucky we will not have to sell players anymore so cheap bargains for other clubs is a thing of the past.

We will also probably be the top spenders in this transfer window.

While we would be happy surviving out first season the owner would prefer it if we finished in the top four.

Second (or third) that, although I'm beginning to think it's not Tan we need to get rid of but a few who want to relive the past, it's called the past for a reason, leave it there.

Might have something to do with the 5 minutes of added time he found in his magic clock. Next week he'll be finding a white rabbit.
