It's not rocket science Someone responded to a post from around the time he was sacked. I agree we moved on.
As Chaos says though that was just him having the audacity to stand up to the abuse he was getting from fans. He has a right to defend himself against it. Really if that annoyed you, you should look at why he felt the need to do that. Sadly some of your fellow supporters always turn personal. You yourself have spent a good portion of his reign reading into things that weren't there and trying to blame every mortal thing on Bruce. Not having a go but that is just how I see it, and you're by no means the only one. I always understand it because its frustrating when your team does ****, and even more so when you know those running the show are doing the bare minimum required and not trying to improve. However at times its been ridiculous the things people have tried to suggest or tried to blame him for. I just think Bruce has been used by players, owners etc and the fans have done their usual and bought it. Don't get me wrong, Bruce has proved over the course of 2 and half season to be not good enough. He didn't do a good job. I can excuse the results, up until this season he'd done no worse than the previous manager who I felt did a solid job. But there was no sign of a long term plan being put in place, and it felt like Ole at Man U, or managers from the 90's. It was just hoping players were good enough. I just think it doesn't need to turn personal. I don't think it will heading forward cause we are probably done appointing ****hawks.
Essentially the fans were prodding away at someone until that person kicked them! and then stood there saying "LOOK HE KICKED ME"
