There is absolutely no way we would sign ONLY Hooper. We might sign Austin alone, but even that I doubt.

I think we may try and sign both, but I think we will definitely play with two new strikers come the start of the season.

I would much rather have Hooper than Austin. Both of them score a lot of goals but Hooper looks much better in terms of his technique and touch. He also seems to do more for the team than Austin.

£25m so says the owner. Cardiff still need to address the issue of scoring goals. Danny Graham has been linked with Cardiff. That will go down well in Swansea and add spice to the welsh derbies.

Nope. Saints have pulled out as things stand as the agent wants £1m for his part. Whatever part that is of course. Lol.

I suspect City will drop any add ons. £4m is a fair price for Hooper.

Agreed. Get both and play Aluko in the hole just behind them. That should be fun.

:1980_boogie_down: good call, that would be funny, ironically, despite Govan being the home of Fergie and Ibrox, its mainly Celtic supporters in this area...

I think you would be right to think we need more than just Hooper. But I think Hooper will be a good addition. We need options and cover in the EPL, so I would like both him and Austin and as someone else pointed out, Aluko in behind would be a great combination. I think the 2 of them would go well with Prozzy too.

Daily Mail saying we have bid £5 million, however article loses all credibility saying after admitted defeat to Everton over Kone - we've hardly been linked!

Is it just Hooper and Austin we are being linked with? I had been hoping that we might get someone with PL experience.

There are a few, however tenuous the link may be! Carlton Cole and Peter Odemwingie for starters!
