If my memory serves me well, they did manage to get a match abandoned by invading the pitch, I'm almost certain they played a cup game against Notts Forest and were getting beat and they did the same trick, maybe someone else on here can remember and correct me if I'm wrong.
Aye, They were getting beat 3-1 at home, say 20 mins to go? Invaded Sid James' and got kicked off, then won the game 4-3. FA said they had to replay it, then play all the next seasons FA cup games away from home. Didn't win the fair play league. Can't remember the season. Might even have been '74 and there glorious cup final v Scousers. x
