People going berserk over the feeder club comment in the article make me laugh - who are we supposedly feeding these players to? If they did own an Australian team, does anybody really think it's viable in anyway to move players from England to the Australian league? Chill out.

No other paper seems to have reported anything about this. It seems to me that the whole thing was planted by the Aussies,and they used the Daily Mail as they were seen to be the most gullible.
Rick has point-blank denied it was him. I don't know the bloke personally, so have no opinion on his integrity.
He announced the story was coming, has previously leaked stuff to the DM, kangaroo hints hours prior, take back the valley initiative for Swindon - the whole takeover story is built on RD retaining the Valley. I don't know for fact, but these are the key ingreidtants for why I call shenanigans on the story and who the leak is. As for integrity.. well, that's for the individual to decide.
