Agreed. When it's been looked at before, a lot of people said the potential abuse and pissing contests put them off the board and stopped them posting.
Maybe you should look at silly **** bengals post history dutch. Nowt about the topic or any topic, just constant sniping at other posters. Spellings grammar bollocks. I doubt he's made a single post on football.
It's not just him though is it Chazz, there are some usernames that just attract abuse from others no matter what they post.
I know I don't always practice what I'm about to preach but I try. If someone is just being a prick, others should just try to ignore them, if that doesn't work, bang the report button. The alternative is threads buggered up by slanging exchanges.
Who knows, there could be someone sat reading with good information that can't be arsed to join a thread like this.
That's the same for most forums though, and I don't think people would be put off by a few arguments, I've had a few. My New Years resolution was not to get involved.
However, Bengals has brought nothing to the forum. His contribution is to correct people or pull them up on grammar and spelling mistakes. He also has taken it upon himself to go in pursuit of certain posters for no good reason. A lot of his posts have very questionable content, a few in particular which are easy enough to find using the search function. Hard to believe he's a pensioner, he must have a very empty life.

Turns up, imposes his, albeit hypocritical, values on everyone, offers nothing football wise, inserts a racist thread or two, has serious, Hoddle like, pops at disabled people & then has the gall to suggest that the board is being "taken over" by posters, who had been registered & contributed from day one, talking football, not arsed about spelling or grammer & occasionally calling each other out when we act like bengalis. He's the biggest bengali to tread these boards..
