If the takeover is complete, I get the feeling that Newcastle may become a club that the media will love to hate.

They will but it will be very interesting to see how quickly they change their tune. I'm pretty sure they would have a completely different view/opinion of us if all of a sudden we had some england internationals in our squad !

We will then see their true colours. Journalists are support to report news in an unbiased way.

Defund the BBC right now for this horse ****.
RTG makes more sense than those useless twats right now.

In fairness, the Beeb are just reporting what McNeil said.

I quite like McNeil - sat in on a public committee once when he roasted the hell out of that complete moron Andrea Leadsom. And he does have a point here: to protect one of our most valuable exports, we should fight to make sure that SA (and everyone else) play by WTO rules. Otherwise we’re going to be a bit ****ed when we rely on the WTO come December...

I want the takeover to go through as much as the next man. And I don’t think McNeil wants to stop it. Just that is the only card we have to play to bring Saudi in line.

As for him being a goatfucker, I couldn’t possibly comment. Save to say that if you’ve seen the average Scots lass over the age of 23, you can see why he might have got confused.

He probably favoured herd immunity too. If the Police raided his gaff you can bet they'd find loads of references to old shep on his laptop.

Well I hope MacNeil gets ****ed by a goat who has taped barbed wire to its pecker :emoticon-0148-yes:

With journalism, I'm not sure why anyone bothers, the mass media is a joke. Take the BBC. The COVID reporting has exposed them badly as bought and paid for. They are ****ing useless and impartiality is clearly lost on them. The Chronicle, I know its been much loved up here, but its nothing more than a useless rag now. When we had reporting from around the KK time, they were half decent. Not great but they were mildly accurate. Now its just scattergun and hope something sticks. The same rag will post polar story lines on same subject within hours of each other. Takeover will go through tomorrow. 6hrs later, takeover in serious doubt.

The truth is journalism is a dying art. Or at least good journalism. It mirrors our politicians of which MacNeil is one. I've had issues with many politicians over my lifetime. But I can say those when I was young, for all their flaws they were career politicians and normally fairly intelligent. Now the current lot seem to have skim read what politics is about at Uni, got pissed instead and then been charged with running the country. I see it the same in my field construction. We've had surveyors come to us out of Uni. "Can you take off that drawing" "No we weren't taught measurement at Uni" "So you're not actually a surveyor then, regardless what your degree says that they hand out like confetti"

In 2007, the Sunday Mail reported MacNeil "kissed and fondled" two girls aged 17 & 18 in a hotel room while his pregnant wife was in hospital, in 2005. MacNeil also had an affair with journalist Serena Cowdy...

Blame the internet for todays journalism. In the past what few there were would get their info as a result of a scoop from a good personal source. No time for that now. Like us they trawl through the internet, in the hope that they will be the 2nd person to break a story.
