Agreed. A lot ****ing bigger. And you can bet your bottom dollar they are in it to make money. It stands to reason that having a football club at the heart of a global acquisition portfolio is probably a good idea. So just buy MUFC. If they really want to be instantly exposed for the sheer arrogance of buying. A football club to aid their global influence why **** about with nufc?
And I hope your right. And deep down I still think there is substance in it. The recent developments influence the position. But...... They are not just doing this for little nufc.
why pay billions for something that you'd make no profit from .. nufc 300 million.. then in 10 years it'll be worth billions is the objective
They are not buying us to make money from our club. They are doing it for the exposure of all their other business interests. That’s how they make more money. **** I am more than happy to eat humble pie I am just balancing the equation here. We could easily get carried away (again) with some snippet of some news. But we are really insignificant in the footballing world right now. Also if they where that switched on then surely they would have done all this BEFORE trying to buy the club?
Before Man City where bought I went to Maine road with my brother (He was 10 at the time) and grandad. It was an absolute **** hole. They where rolling over cars in moss side and rioting. They had a temp stand at the time. They have come a long way from them days. With the money invested. I always thought the lucky ****ers getting the owners they have why couldn’t it happen to us.
I’m still Wondering if his bad mood the other day was because he had got wind (internally) that things where progressing.
In other news Man Utd have had yet another penalty. Meaning they have had more penalties this season than we have had shots.
