still a large number of morons saying " we've been here before" No we have not... nowhere even close. none of the others had the money it never went far at all... this is quite clearly in the final weeks or months of being concluded.

I'll tell you how thick this bloke is - about 2 months after Apple, Google and Microsoft all announced the future of gaming was in online, direct games and streaming, THIS ****ing clown bought Game.

More popular games today are free to play, any other game you need is available via a subscription service such as EA Access or Microsoft Game Pass. Wtf do you need a Game store for, when it's more expensive than CEX?

He's as much a dinosaur as Bruce, a big time charlie from a bygone era on his last legs.
He bought the modern equivalent of Blockbuster!!!
What an arsehole!!

He really is an idiot - and this isn't meant as a snide remark, it's a factual statement. I mean, we have all the detailed history of what he did with NUFC - if that's not a clue as to the abject stupidity of the man, I don't know what is.

Retail is dying on its arse and his answer is......erm, he doesn't actually have one. Oh, sorry - renaming Sports Direct Group and calling it FRASERS is obviously the right strategy, when your clientele is almost entirely made up of low-rent people buying from your tat shop purely because it's cheap.

Of course in the past we've all done it, particularly buying for kids who grow overnight - what the **** would I go to the Nike store for? Sondico do a job. But I'm done with him, as I'm sure many better educated will be. Decathlon is considerably better value and I can just shop around for the rest. He's the only online retailer still refusing free delivery and offering a mug as compensation for the £5 you have to spend every time.

Nah, the guy's a ****wit and in this world he'll lose, eventually. All coming home to roost now.

hhhmm the chronicle seem to be saying that there's still no bid or at least that mike ashley hasnt accepted one, but does back up the paperwork story. It's real interest , but Ashley his going to take some getting rid of... i guess it comes down to how much PIF want nufc and when other options become more appealing to them.

The bid is the equivalent to exchange in house buying

so pretty advanced....how does this work ? what paperwork is involved at various stages ? I am under the impression its likely the prem checks stage and then the bid is sent and accepted and details sent to the prem league ?

Pretty much. So when the bid goes in then unless they fail the PL test then it's just a sign off on completion day

To get to this alleged state suggests terms and price agreed

He could but he's in a position where he needs these funds

I think anyone that has any common sense would accept this is real and has a chance of happening, but also try to comprehend how many things could break this deal or any other. I mean you mention house sales, so imagine selling a premier league football club. The fakeover troops are so thick it's embarrassing.
