To be honest that fan has a very good point. These media and journalist arseholes just print lies, bullshit and fairytales. They can't be arsed to be proper journalists and actually do some research. So they just quote "sources" or "from people VERY close to the takeover". You've convinced me Pete, it was the capital letters which did it. I also love that he has decided "Most" fans appreciate them passing on this bullshit. Do they? Have you taken a poll of the fans? Because I've taken a very small poll of the ones I know, none of them want to read made up lies, and they all think you're a ****. I tell you what Pete, why don't you take your face for a ****
They don't give a **** about nufc ... they are clearly trying to just ignore the takeover request until someone pulls out off their own backs imo.. there's no reason to fail it, they don't want to pass it, so **** masters and football entirely... last night showed the full reality of why football is dead as a competition...the fact I'm sat here hoping for an oil rich takeover to happen to give us a chance is another reason it's dead too.
It doesn't matter what Saudi's are telling you. You could ask 100 people at the PIF and they'd all tell you the deal was done. Sadly you need to get info from Mort, Barnes, Masters or even Ashley to have any hope of being near the truth.
I'm surprised at the frustration by a lot of fans to our performance yesterday. Man City have ran circles around teams since the restart and we played with a set of tactics that had seen us tale points from them in previous seasons. Darrow didn't have to make too many big saves (one I think) and the goal we conceded was a silly mistake. We came out with more intent in the second half and should have equalised. We'd have gone on to lose but there would have been a lot of pressure on City and you never know. We were fine. ASM looked good again and I thought Joelinton looked fired up and classy on the ball. All good
He is talking **** mate. He's been talking **** for weeks like the rest of them. They have no sources, they have **** all, hence its all very opaque. If they had anything mildly reliable, they'd be all over it. In the absence of that they just post nothing remarks hoping fans are stupid enough to believe their sources are VERY close to the deal. Amazingly some still do. The media is now a joke. Not just sports journalism, all forms of media and press. They could not lie straight in bed.
he says he has been told from both sides mind mate ... I think it's just a matter of time personally... very close
Can't agree at all. We've never taken any points from them or any other top 6 side employing those tactics. Don't mix up our defensive displays against them (earlier this season and last season), Man U, Chelsea etc over last three seasons where we've taken points, with that capitulation yesterday. Being defensive is fine, you kinda have to against these sides because they will have the ball. However all of our successes have come the same way. Its the same way most sides take points from them. Be defensively solid but press the ball and always carry a threat. Sitting there waiting to be taken to slaughter is not fine and the fans have every right to be pissed off this morning. Worst of all we took a point off them earlier this season, not playing this way! That yesterday is a good example of why stats are useful only to a point. I'd imagine stats from that game and the one earlier in the season probably looked similar. But they were chalk and cheese in terms of mentality.
Sure he doesn't. I mean he is not just pretending to be in the know because its his job to. He's a **** and he's just printing **** to stay relevant like the rest of them. They were reliably informed it was happening last week. And the week before. And the 52 weeks before that. If my source got it wrong so many times, I'd think about changing them
Well his stories are dead interesting, I'm sure Steve can provide him with a coffin. It'll be a fake one though, just like his sources VERY close to the deal.
