The bottom line is the takeover and subsequent ownership of a private, limited company (Newcastle Utd) should have less than ****ing nothing to do with broadcast rights. We have umpteen thousand letters and press releases, none of which seem to suggest the PIF/KSA are about to buy the club. Yet we seem obsessed with taking the blank spaces and creating a narrative to suit our needs. There is no spoon.
