The only time I could see him mentioning the Saudi link to United, was last year, so its simply not relevant. The rest of that is just your opinion, not fact.
It seems inconceivable for somebody to make that story up, so I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt and say he heard it from a poor source. He seems to think the sellers don’t like Staveley which tells me his source is probably somebody involved on their side (probably legal), cogito ergo sum.
Theoretically speaking bein have exclusive rights to broadcast the premier league Over the pond. By approving the deal they would effectively be turning a blind eye to the illegal streaming. Why should bein pay 500m when boutq not have to pay a penny especially when your paying 500m for exclusive rights.
I mean being brutally honest he was utterly **** for the majority of his time here. Some of his defending in the early period was nothing short of horrendous. He seemed to have no positional sense (or any sense). However he has picked up under Rafa and then Bruce in the latter part of his time, the last year he has been pretty solid in my opinion. He is a strange one to work out. He is very much in the Perch etc mould of someone who has turned it around. He should be in his peak years now which is why I'd have kept him as a solid back up option. I don't rate Yedlin as a footballer nevermind a right back. And Kraft looks slow and limited. It seems strange when you need good solid types while you build to discard him for free. Particularly in favour of two players I would hope will not be part of the new look team should a takeover happen. I think if he goes back to La Liga I could see him in decent side. Outside of the top 3 there its a free for all most seasons. I could see him in that second bracket of clubs somewhere. Whether he would ever get a Spain cap, possibly but he'd still have to improve again quite a bit.
Agree with most of that. I'd say he's good enough to play for a team fighting for European places in the Spanish league. He's improving still and I reckon with a season or two as a first choice in a better team he can get to be squad worthy. I'd be lying if I claimed I knew enough about the Spain squad but hey ho. He's not rubbish. I think I prefer him to Rose.
I don't want to be too harsh on Rose as he looked really good three years ago and he never really got a chance here. My concern with Rose would be his mental approach. He seems to have spent the last 3 years whining. I realise he has had mental health problems and I have sympathy with him. I'm not saying that is a reason to discard him, but there is no point in hiding from the fact it will bring its own issues which need managed. He has said he doesn't like football etc. That's fine if you are like David Batty who just viewed it as a job, but he still actually liked football. He just wasn't interested in the celebrity or high jinks. Rose seems to have lost his love for the actual game and its kinda showed when he has played. I'd prefer Willems for all he can fall asleep and cost goals. He has a real positivity about him which I like, and at times his dutch schooling really shows. I suspect he might be the type that if you get him with better players he may step up again. I'd certainly not be against signing him despite some concerns about his defending.
To save anyone the bother, the only two things you need to know are: - Report is from April 2019. - BeoutQ closed September 2019. This is less than ****ing nothing to do with Amanda Staveley, Reuben Bros or even PIF. As I have said a hundred times, there will be the best legal minds already on this who will have been prepared for any eventuality from this. The "story" which has the NUFC internet in a blind panic is a few weeks old and has been rehashed to make it about the takeover, when originally it had **** all to do with is, for clicks.
