He’s laid the law down to the club aswell. Good for him. He needs boundaries which is fine.

I see this as a positive thing.

 

Interesting that there’s a lot of people pissed at the lack of comms on tickets as well. Nobody knows whether they’re coming or going after last seasons ****show, and it’s 4 weeks to kick off.

Yet apparently I was wrong for saying we needed to kick on and away from Staveley/Ghodoussi.

 

Depends who comes in... it's good news if he gets it right.. it's bad news if he makes a mess and becomes as difficult to remove as wood chip wallpaper.

They have a big thing about it on the clubs website and emails were sent out. Tickets will still be sold by ballot, however people successful in ballot will be given an allocated time slot to choose seats rather than being issued seats.

With the cup season tickets having a longer period as an optional add on for season tickets they’ve probably waited for final numbers before deciding how to proceed

 

Notice we got about £3m for Ashworth. So not quite holding firm to the £20m….

Would love to know the exact conversation that took place with Staveley/Mehrdad. Seems like being fired almost.

Murmurings nobody knew what the hell anybody’s roles were as they swanned around doing a bit of everything.

They borrowed from Ashley to get 10%, then borrowed another £35m from Reuben. I truly don’t understand finance these days. I’m not saying they’re fraudsters, I just obviously need lessons.

 

They don’t have big money. Her family used to own light water valley I think. Their business model seems to be buying and investing other people’s money and earning large commissions.

With a 10% stake for example. For every £100m PIF pump in they’d need to invest 10m or see shares diluted.

I liked the pair of them and would have been happy for them to be involved as staff members in a PR role of some sort.

However with a CEO, CFO, Sporting Director, Performance Director, and various others there isn’t really a role for them anymore.

The fact their being linked with other takeovers very much suggests this isn’t as amicable as first suggested. Thats just an opinion though.
