Agree. As well as facilitating the takeover, they have also been great figureheads to help build relations between club and fans. Also been active on social media etc. as well as behind the scenes. So I think the club will need consider this when they bith step aside, to ensure that level of relationship with the fanbase is maintained.
PIF & Ruebens must now feel ready to go to the next level of investment. Staveley & Mehdad can't maintain that level of investment to match them as major shareholders. Was always the longer term plan, but seems to be moving along now. They 'might' well still stay on in some capacity, such as consulting roles, but not as major shareholders.
RB Sports and media would struggle to keep up with PIF expenditure and they have a fortune of almost £20bn....... Amanda and Mehrdad simply don't have that type of wealth. Every time a major investment is made their share is diluted. They were never going to keep going with things like stadium plans etc coming down the track. They've been first class though. Wish them all the very best.
Rumours that there’s been a reluctance to selling certain sub-par players and that the PSR scramble wasn’t looked upon well by those higher up. Starting to also get murmurings about the failure to reach Europe not being wel received. Howes two biggest allies gone. I wonder.
Not quite, was a lengthy story looking at naming rights in the US and the potential impact. We would struggle to get even close to that number, which in itself was a 10 year deal.

Quite possibly. Howe was bullet proof under them. He won’t be now. I reckon he’s got to progress this season for him to keep his job. I reckon we are going to start becoming more professional at every step now.
