There he is. The legend that is @Hung,Drawn and Quartered 13 seconds in. Throwing his money around. I came across this this morning on Twitter.
Under Ashley and Bruce please log in to view this image 1 year later under Howe: please log in to view this image OK we may have spent a few hundred million in the process but what a year can do for your fortunes... HTL!
Been saying this since the day the takeover happened. The premier league top six don’t want us at the party. The only way we can improve our spending power is to grow our commercial income. An additional 150m in this area will strengthen that but it may take more. https://thisisfutbol.com/2022/10/bl...-income-amid-wage-cap-reports-finance-expert/
Think the issue the others will have is he Saudis own SO much, have their finger in SO many pies and can spready the wealth SO far and through SO many different companies that there's not really much you can do to stop it. They could "politely request" a Disney documentary that never makes it to air and pay us £100m for it if they felt like it...
Urgh and to think it's just shy of a year getting rid of this bollocks: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/63130153 Repeat and Rehash from this: https://www.themag.co.uk/2021/10/st...-using-900-games-experience-newcastle-united/
"Change is for other people to decide. All I can do is try and draw on my experience. I've had tough times before," he told BBC WM Sport. "I've been here many times. You have to draw on a bit of experience and a bit of resilience and if you're going to do the job, you have to have a bit of that." That's his problem, the main management experience he can "draw on" is of being ****e. So it becomes engrained. It's like muscle memory. He doesn't have the capaity to do it differently. I think he's a decent enough guy, he just isn't a top quality manager. A good player and leader in his day, yes, but that doesn't always translate into good management or coaching.
