I wonder if Luke, premier league unofficial spokesman/propaganda spreader, Edwards retweets this - (He retweet’s almost all Newcastle related telegraph articles)
My guess....... American owners all **** off in a huff as they will no longer be able to change the rules of the game to be more like the NFL.
I think we've felt this before, but this really is now approaching the end game.. Its only 12 weeks until arbitration and that's if its actually needed.
My only worry, is that the PL think this is going to look dodgy as **** if they pass it in the next couple of weeks. Their aim is probably to pass it at Arbitration so they can say - look there was never anything to worry about we just needed the i's dotted and t's crossed.
Why's that worrying you? Means by mid January there'll be no more Steve Bruce, Lee Charnley and Mike Ashley!
Because if they hadn't been such a bunch of thick ****s they could have done a deal tomorrow to avoid everything, but because they've gone on like bellends if they do that questions will be asked by everyone.
That's what I wad saying last night.. If they fold they'll all just agree to the same story and a slight restructure or compromise.
I dipped in and out of it today. It was interesting the bits I watched. A lot of waffle and a lot of squirming at times. Pure theatre when our man (can't remember his name) went off on a tangent but recovered it at the end.
I think they're arrogant because they've never had to answer to anyone for years and now they're facing exposure. I think they expect it to be thrown out simply because their little rule book says it shouldn't be made public.
Off on a tangent? The ****er went so far off route for a while it was like he was using a sat nav with a map from the 1920's loaded in it
